SCH AUXILIARY ANNOUNCES WINNERS

Sherry Gragg of Staff Development accepts the first place ribbon and fruit basket from Auxiliary President Barbara Sheppard for the "Most Humorous" Christmas door decoration.

One of the highlights of the Christmas Season at Stephens County Hospital is the Door Decorating Contest. This year’s theme was Christmas Morning and the staff truly outdid themselves with nineteen departments displaying wonderful entries. The SCH Auxiliary coordinates the event and this year’s judges were Edith Addison, Jean Roberts, and Carolyn Hosea. Judging of the event was definitely a challenge.

First Place winners by category are: Most Humorous - Staff Development; Most Artistic - Environmental Services; Most Creative Use of Materials - Medical Floor; Most Appropriate to the Theme and the prize for Best Overall was awarded to the Laboratory. Each department with a first place winning entry received a fruit basket and ribbon. Second and third place winners received ribbons. Congratulations to all of the winners and a huge thank you to our judges.
