Toccoa, GA ~ ~ During the month of February which is American Heart Month, the nurses of Stephens County Hospital’s Cardiopulmonary Rehab Department visited several local businesses to conduct blood pressure screenings. Continuing with the health checkup theme, both locations of the First Citizens Bank were conducting “financial checkups”. Outfitted in scrubs provided by Emily’s Uniforms and More in Seneca, bank staff assisted their patrons in looking at their overall financial condition. When asked if any customers were DOA (dead on arrival), bank Vice-President Michelle Lamping replied, “some were close, but we saved them”.
