DEBBIE SAVAGE RETIRES FROM
STEPHENS COUNTY HOSPITAL

Debbie Savage has retired from Nursing Services at Stephens Hospital after 17 years of service. Debbie began work at the hospital in 1994 at the Wilkinson Center as a PCA. She later worked in the Materiels Management department and eventually settled in Nursing Services. In 1997, Debbie began work in New Impressions as the O.B. Unit secretary. Joined by her family, Debbie greeted co-workers, hospital staff and volunteers at a tea on April 29th honoring her years of service and dedication to the hospital.

Debbie resides in Toccoa along with her two children, Sandi Walters and Stephen Savage, as well as her four grandchildren. Making presentations at the reception were Hospital Administrator, Ed Gambrell, Faye Taylor, RN, Director of Nursing and Tonya Chitwood, RN, O.B. Nurse Manager. Ms. Taylor, RN described Debbie as professional, energetic, conscientious and kind. Ms. Chitwood, RN added "I first met Debbie when I was 17 years old and then I got the privilege of working with her and I cannot say enough about her. She is a wonderful person and a staple in the O.B. department."
