STEPHENS COUNTY HOSPITAL'S CARDIOPULMONARY
REHABILITATION DEPARTMENT HOLDS GRADUATION

The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation department at Stephens County Hospital honored the most recent graduating class at a dinner on June 23rd. The graduates were recognized for their hard work in completing the medically supervised eight to twelve week exercise program. Diplomas were distributed and the group heard testimonials from other participants. The Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation service is a comprehensive Phase II and Phase III inclusive and progressive exercise and education program. The Cardiovascular program is customized to meet the needs of people who have experienced a cardiac event such as a heart attack, heart bypass, stint placement, heart valve repair/replacement, angina and heart or heart/lung transplant. The Pulmonary program targets individuals with COPD, emphysema, chronic lung disease and adult asthma sufferers.
