Mildred Sosby Retires from Stephens County Hospital

Mildred Sosby has retired after 14 years of service in the Hospital Snack Bar.

Toccoa, GA -- Mildred Sosby ended her working days retiring from the Snack Bar at Stephens County Hospital in July of this year.

Beginning her employment at Stephens County Hospital in February of 1993, Mildred had retired from her first career at Coats & Clark where she had worked since 1966. A well-attended retirement reception was held in her honor on Friday, July 27th in the hospital cafeteria. Joined by her brothers and sisters, daughters, Pastor Tony Byrd, church family and friends, Mildred greeted hospital employees and Auxiliary members during the affair.

“We deeply appreciate Mildred and her years of service. We wish her good health and an enjoyable retirement.” said Hospital Administrator Ed Gambrell.
