Stephens County Hospital has been a trusted name in health care since 1937. The staff at Stephens County Hospital realizes how precious the gift of good health can be and strive for excellence and professionalism in care. Stephens County Hospital is committed to providing the best healthcare possible to the citizens of our community. It is through this commitment that the Stephens County Hospital Foundation was formed. The Foundation's purpose is to facilitate charitable gifts and donations to help supplement funding needed for programs and equipment beyond the financial scope of the Hospital. These charitable donations will help enable Stephens County Hospital to continue to meet the challenges of providing healthcare for our citizens.
MISSION
The Foundation's mission is to support programs and services to supplement and improve health care and indigent care at Stephens County Hospital, the development and support of community outreach programs, the acquisition of capital equipment or real estate, and the development and execution of programs designed to assist Stephens County Hospital in carrying out its responsibilities.
The Stephens County Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit, tax -exempt 501(c)(3) philanthropic corporation. The Foundation allocates charitable funds to enhance patient care and improve the quality of life for all citizens of our community. The Foundation vows to provide sound stewardship of contributions to build a healthier community. We will also provide to our donors confidentiality and appropriate recognition for their contributions.
The Foundation aides in the funding of the following areas:
- The generating of funds to maintain and expand the availability of services and program enhancements.
- Educational needs for Stephens County Hospital employees as well as the citizens of our community.
- Technological advancements.
- Advancement of the Stephens County Hospital personal care facilities - Clary Care Center & The Wilkinson Center.
