At New Impressions, Mother/Baby nurses provide specialized attention for mom and newborn as a unit, encouraging early infant bonding and family togetherness. With the assurance that we are here to answer your questions, provide assistance and care for the infant, many mothers feel prepared to take a more active role in caring for their newborns.

Because we respect the intimacy and uniqueness of each family's relationship, mom's are always involved in decisions regarding their care. Unlike "rooming in", our staff members are responsible for infant care including feeding, bathing and diaper changes, but mom or dad can do as much as they choose.

New parents may elect to keep the baby in the suite, and when mom wants privacy or needs rest, the nursing staff will care for the baby in the nursery.

The Childbearing Suites

Private, roomy suites where the entire birthing process occur make New Impressions the perfect choice for families who desire the comfort of a home environment with the safety of a hospital setting. Each suite has its own refrigerator, private bath & shower and adjoining family rooms. Although the atmosphere is homelike, the latest in medical equipment is instantly available. An adjustable birthing bed accommodates many positions to assure mom's comfort during her labor and delivery. In addition to a special bed for mom, the suite also has a warming unit for the newborn, a rocking chair, television and side table & chairs. All tastefully decorated in soft subdued colors to help create a relaxed atmosphere.

We're Family Friendly!

Our business is family business. We offer a wide array of educational classes in addition to our childbirth classes held right in the unit. No wandering through long halls for assistance-once the doors open at New Impressions, you're gong to be with specially trained obstetrical personnel. We can make your "reservations" by completing most of the registration process early eliminating bothersome but necessary paperwork.
